After the consensus is reached and prior to signing the contract, prepayment (deposit) equal to 2000£ should be paid to reserve the property you have selected. You can transfer money via bank, pay by credit card or pay cash immediately in the office.

After paying the deposit you will have about 2 weeks for signing the Contract and making an agreed first payment (25% of the Sale Price). Within 21 days after signing the Contract Stamp Duty must be paid. Stamp duty is obligatory and must be paid to the tax office, amounting to 0.5% of the property specified in the contract.
